5487 : 16th Annual Abstracts Tournament, GM: Clark Rodeffer, 24 players, No XP/Simple, Saturday 9a-1p. Come match wits with your opponents in various combinatorial strategy games. Most of the games can be learned and played to completion within 30 minutes. General Audience (13+) Ballroom Table 414-419. $3.00

1p

5716 Dominion: Rio Grande Sanctioned Dominion Tournament, GM: Scott Colcord, 27 players, Some XP/Average, Saturday 1p-11p. Please join us for the only officially sanctioned Dominion tournament in Michigan! Play in a series of custom-designed Kingdom sets drawing from every published Dominion set. All players receive promotional cards. The top finishers, after a series of Swiss-style rounds, will move on to an elimination stage. Bring your "A" game, and good luck! Sorry, "Play All Games" ribbons not accepted. General Audience (13+) Ballroom Table 416-425. $10.00

4p

6080 : 2016 Michigan State Nevermore Championship, GM: Edward Kabara (Envoy), 16 players, No XP/Simple, Saturday 4p-8p. A casual-style, card-drafting game in which you quickly build your hand each round, collecting cards you want and poisoning your opponent's hand by passing along cards you think they can't use. Whoever holds the most of a given suit, gains the power of that suit to attack, heal, acquire Light or Shadow magicks and score victory points. Will you transform all your rivals into ravens - or can they regain their human form in time to score enough victory to win? The winner of this tournament gets a trophy and moves up the chain towards the U.S. National Championship at Gen Con 2017. General Audience (13+) Ballroom Table 214. $1.50

8p

6081 : 2016 Michigan State Skull King Championship, GM: Edward Kabara (Envoy), 16 players, No XP/Simple, Saturday 8p-12a. A trick-taking game similar to Oh Hell!, Wizard, and Spades, with players needing to state how many tricks they think they'll win each round. Special cards can throw off your best efforts, however, so watch how others bid and play carefully. The winner of this tournament gets a trophy and moves up the chain towards the U.S. National Championship at Gen Con 2017. General Audience (13+) Ballroom Table 216. $1.50
