Volunteer Opportunities!

Hello U-Con attendees!  It’s November already which means it’s also convention month.  There is a little over 2 weeks until U-Con so I thought I’d stop by and talk about volunteering.

Why volunteer? Good question!  If you ever thought you might want to know a little more about how U-Con works, volunteering is an excellent first step.  Volunteers can help with setup and teardown; assist our vendors and guests; help attendees; work the Ops desk, or maybe mind the Games Library.  Volunteers help run the convention in so many ways and we couldn’t do it without you.

You get to choose how much you can commit, but there are some neat bonuses for volunteering.  

• Your badge will be $20 for 8 hours of volunteering.
• Your badge will be free for 16 hours of volunteering.
