U-Con Con Chair Update – 2022 June 04
Greetings! This update is about event submission and U-Con pricing.
Review and setup of Tabletop Events, our new event management software, is going very well. Thank you Laura H. for heading that up! After a bit more testing, and after Origins, we will open the site for Event Submissions. The earliest this will be is Monday, June 13th, and instructions will be provided in a later update.
As stated in the previous update, we are increasing the prices of attending U-Con due to the software change and other increased expenses. The prices are now listed on our website, and also listed here:
Weekend Badge: $70 ($60 Preregistration)
Weekend Badge Military: $60
Weekend Badge Student: $60
Weekend Badge Child (7-12): $20
Weekend Badge Child (0-6): Free
Daily Badge, Friday: $45
Daily Badge, Saturday: $55 ($45 Preregistration)
Daily Badge, Sunday: $35
Gamemaster (Fri-Sun), 8 hours of events: $20
Gamemaster (Fri-Sun), 16 hours of events: Free
Volunteer (Fri-Sun), 8 hours of events: $20
Volunteer (Fri-Sun), 16 hours of events: Free
Application required for volunteers.
Event Tickets: Free. Badge purchase is required to reserve tickets. There may be some special events that have ticket prices.
Also, don’t forget to reserve your hotel room at the Marriott through our hotel block. We need to reach our quota, and it is also a good indicator of attendance.
