Welcome to Virtual U-Con Day 2!

Good morning everyone! We’re kicking off today at 9am with Evans Collins taking you through some Sentinels of the Multiverse and signing off the day with Pritpaul Mahal guiding Codenames. In between there are a lot of games to choose from so give Saturday’s Schedule a look – there are still games with seats (you will have to scroll or limit the view for Saturday only).

A couple of admin notices:

GMs: There is a virtual worksheet to fill out for the games you ran. If you could take a moment and do that we would greatly appreciate it. For returning GMs, this would be the paper you would normally have in your GM envelope that you would complete and give to a runner. Thank you!

GMs and PLAYERS: I don’t know if we specifically stated this (and that is on me) but all game times are in Eastern Standard Time. This is not something we would have thought to mention in a real space convention but online? Time Zones Matter. I apologize to any GMs or Players who had no shows because of time confusion.

I also want to thank everyone for putting in the time to run games and for playing the games. This is a weird and stressful time and we hope this weekend will allow everyone a chance to relax and have fun. If you need to drop out of a game, it would be a kindness to leave a message at the GM’s table on U-Con’s Discord Server letting people know. This way the GM will have a better idea if they can run their game and the players will know that their GM can’t make it. We are all learning how online conventions work and if a GM can’t run or players can’t play, the sooner they know the better chance they have to join another game.

Lastly, if you are looking for a group or players, find the CHATS channels #boardgames and #rpgs to post messages on. If a GM has their own table, you can use that or you can use any of the tables in the Games Library section for pick up games.
