October Events and Important Dates!

Events Due for Virtual U-Con on OCTOBER 2nd

Just a reminder to GMs that event submission are due this coming Friday. Events preview will be Saturday October 10th so GMs can make sure everything looks just as it ought and then Pre-reg opens the next Saturday (10/17/2020).

Thursday Night Game Hours

If you are still on the fence about this whole virtual gaming thing, drop by U-Con’s Discord server on Thursdays in October from 7pm to 9pm to play a game, ask a question, possibly even host a game yourself if you feel up to it (U-Con Discord Table 42 in the Games Library Section for voice chat). One of U-Con’s Virtual Environments Test Team Members will be on to answer questions you may have about online gaming. We will also be playing games starting with Potion Explosion on Board Game Arena this Thursday the 1st.

October Virtual Games Library Day 10/11/2020

We will be running the second to last Virtual Games Library Day on the Second Sunday of this month. Drop by any time noon to 8pm to play game or even volunteer to run a game! There will be a few games going in case you want to check it out or ask questions about platforms. GMs, this is a GREAT opportunity to practice what you are going to run for U-Con. “Best to get the kinks out before the day of” is my motto because The Day Of always has some special other plans you never anticipated.

Welcome to Chocober!

Stewart Tame has been organizing his games and the fallout from that is he daily sends me at least 5 game pics to use for Sharkie’s Game Piece Trivia over on the Facebooks. So don’t be surprised when Chocobo takes over this coming month and Sharkie gets the weekend slots. If you feel like participating, let me know (Stewart isn’t the only person to have submitted games) and we’ll get your Friend of Sharkie their own Game Piece Trivia timeslot.
