Family Friendly Events
This year, U-Con is making an effort to recruit and label family friendly events. We would like folks to feel comfortable bringing gamer children and teens to U-Con. You still need to follow our rules regarding the accompaniment of minors. Our gamemasters are not responsible for the behavior or welfare children in their events.
Gamemasters will notice a small change to our event submission forms. We have updated the options available for age guidelines. You now select from four different options: Family Friendly (7+), General Audience (13+), Adults Only (18+), and Mature Content (18+). This helps our guests when selecting events, and helps you give a more accurate description of the content.
When the events are available for selection, we will provide a means to browse for events on our website according to the GM-provided age guidelines. It’s up to the guardian and gamemaster to determine if an event is suitable for a particular child. Please use discretion, and if you have questions please contact the [[Contact Us|event coordinator]]. We can contact the gamemaster ahead of time on your behalf.

I’ll submit one or two family friendly board game events, perhaps including last year’s Pokemon: Master Trainer.
Master Trainer was well received last year, and spawned some friendly pickup Pokemon afterward!
