Game Master Information

U-Con would like to thank you for volunteering to run a gaming event. U-Con provides a large variety of games for all types of game players, thanks to people like you. We appreciate your willingness to contribute your time, and we wish to make your convention experience enjoyable!

If you are the organized play manager for a game manufacturer or gaming group, you can contact the events coordinator for special instructions.

Specific Events Wanted

We are looking for GMs to run a few events to round out our offerings. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in running any of these events please contact the events coordinator. Depending on the event, there may be special compensation available.

• Minis Painting Demo

Benefits

Gamemasters earn free admission to the convention. We ask that each GM provide a $10 deposit when submitting events. This deposit is fully refundable when all your events are completed. We ask for the deposit as a way to cut back on no-show GM's.

Submitting Events

All events should be submitted through the Event Submission Form. In the case that an Event Form is filled out incompletely or incorrectly, a member of the Event Management team will attempt to contact the submitter via e-mail for clarification. If we are unable to contact the submitter, the event will not be entered. If an Event Form is received and no contact info is given, it will be discarded.

Submit events any time after April 1st. Below are event deadlines for the onsite and preregistration event listings.

Deadlines for Submitting Events:

• Friday, September 12, 11:59pm - Event submission deadline (for pre-reg listing)
• Friday, October 31, 11:59pm - Event submission deadline (for onsite book)

Event Sponsors

We are looking for event sponsors! If you know of a company that might be interested in sponsoring your events or would like us to try to find a sponsor for one or more of your events please contact the event coordinator. We would like sponsors to provide prizes or discounted material for events. It's not easy for us to find sponsors for every event, so if you have a sponsor in mind let us know. We may or may not be able to find sponsors for your events.
